Family Medicine Obstetrics Fellowship

Family Medicine Obstetrics Fellowship

The Family Medicine Obstetrics Fellowship is an innovative, highly-individualized training program allowing advanced studies in high risk obstetrics and women’s health. Upon completion of the fellowship, graduates will not only have developed significant skills in operative obstetrics and gynecologic procedures but will also have a deeper understanding of several aspects of women’s health which will cover everything from general gynecology to reproductive endocrinology.

Scholarship is an important part of the program. We offer a unique, intellectually stimulating exercise related to controversies in women’s health.

Our program affiliated with UnityPoint Health – Peoria, which has two hospitals, 550 beds, and 40-plus clinics.

The obstetrical track will involve in-house OB call including high risk and surgical OB. There will be opportunity for perinatology and OB continuity clinic.

Our fellowship is built on the solid foundation of a residency program that is more than 40 years old linked with a regional campus of the University of Illinois College of Medicine.

We have an outstanding experienced faculty who are committed to providing an excellent fellowship learning experience.
