The fellow will receive training in brain injury medicine on the inpatient units at the NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital and at the renowned Bellevue Hospital Center and outpatient services at the state-of-the art Ambulatory Care Center. He or she will also have an opportunity to experience the interdisciplinary focus of brain injury rehabilitation with other disciplines within rehabilitation medicine (eg. physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language pathology) as well as receive exposure to neurosurgery, neuro-optometry and neurology.

The fellow participates in journal clubs, concussion conferences, board relevant brain injury lectures and teaches residents and medical students. A board style midterm is administered to assist the fellow with a plan of study to successfully pass the Brain Injury board certification exam.
