Breast Imaging Fellowship

A one-year fellowship is offered under the direction of Dr. Stephen A. Feig (one position). Other faculty is Dr. Joan Campbell. Training will include both screening and diagnostic interpretation as well as breast interventional procedures. Up to two to three months can be spent in non-breast imaging areas of the department. Our state-of-the-art equipment consists of digital mammography (including CAD), dedicated breast MRI (including MRI CAD and MRI-guided biopsy), stereotactic biopsy and high-resolution breast ultrasound. Participation in the ongoing research projects and publications of the section is encouraged.

The Breast Imaging Fellowship Program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

Prerequisites:

At the time of matriculation, it is mandatory to have a valid State of California medical license, as well as a State of California Radiography and Fluoroscopy Supervisor and Operator Permit, to participate in the fellowships.
