A one-year fellowship position at the University of Rochester is available beginning July 2021. Breast imaging services are primarily provided at our Red Creek Breast Care Center with some ancillary services offered at Strong Memorial Hospital. The center utilizes state of the art equipment and techniques utilizing digital mammography, conventional mammography, breast ultrasound, and a high field MRI with dedicated breast coil.
The fellowship is a one year non-accredited program that provides a large volume and variety of screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and breast MRis. Fellows will gain experience in interventional procedures, preoperative needle localizations, stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided biopsies, cyst and abscess drainage, and ductograms.
Rotations are at URMC and outpatient sites including the Highland Breast Imaging Center, and fellows participate in a variety of conferences, including the weekly Breast Tumor Conference at the Pluta Cancer Center. In addition, fellows are expected to engage in resident teaching, and have multiple research opportunities.

Candidates should have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency program in the United States or an RCPSC-accredited or CFPC-accredited residency program in Canada, have board eligibility or board certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology, satisfactory completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Steps 1, 2, and, if eligible, Step 3, have permanent residency status or citizenship in the United States, and a valid New York State license.
