The Department of Radiology at Stanford University School of Medicine is searching for three full-time Fellows for the Division of Breast Imaging for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Stanford's Breast Imaging Fellowship provides comprehensive training in digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) mammography, diagnostic breast ultrasound, automated whole breast ultrasound, breast MRI, image guided breast biopsies, and image guided breast localizations using wire and wireless techniques. Our faculty include internationally known experts in the field. We offer a robust education series with monthly journal clubs and didactic lectures. Research time is provided for academic projects. Ongoing research includes mammography quality and outcomes, MRI novel sequences, device development, artificial intelligence, and tissue biomarkers.

Stanford Breast Imaging provides coverage at two diagnostic sites, and has multiple associated screening locations. The diagnostic site on Stanford University campus has recently been remodeled to create a state-of-the-art breast imaging patient environment and allow for clinical growth. Stanford is an NCI-designated Cancer Center, recognized for cancer scientific leadership, resources and research.

The Fellowship positions will be in the clinical, teaching and service activities of the Breast Imaging Division.
