Breast Imaging Fellowship

Breast Imaging Fellowship

The goal of the NYU Breast Imaging Fellowship program is to train fellows to achieve excellence in the field of breast imaging. Throughout the year, our fellows work closely with our team of dedicated breast imagers in order to gain skill and confidence in both image interpretation and procedures. Fellows have the opportunity to experience a variety of clinical practice environments from our state-of-the-art cancer center, to our high-volume women’s imaging center, to Bellevue Hospital – the New York City Health and Hospitals flagship hospital. We perform over 50,000 mammograms, 20,000 breast ultrasound exams, 2,000 breast MRIs, and 400 MRI-guided procedures at our main campus sites; more than 1150 breast cancers are treated at NYU Medical Center main site per year.
