Surgical Critical Care Fellowship

University of Central Florida College of Medicine/HCA Healthcare GME (Ocala) is currently seeking a fellow for the 2022-2023 academic year.

This ACGME accredited program is based at Ocala Regional Medical Center, the consortium for North Florida Division in Ocala, Florida. The consortium provides trainees with all resources needed for a complete, well-rounded educational experience. Ocala Health, the primary site, has a State and American College of Surgeons (ACS) verified Level II Trauma center (over 2,800 cases last year) with a fully staffed ICU and TICU, as well as a variety of surgery resources. Fellows will have full access to inpatient and outpatient facilities, clinics, and a dedicated department for education at the primary clinical site.

Foreign medical graduates:

• Must have a current valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG)
• No more than 2 years out of medical school
• At least 1 year of US clinical experience is required in an ACGME accredited program
• NO VISAS – NO EXCEPTIONS
• 3 letters of recommendation (one letter from current Chair or Program Director)
