We offer 1 position for a 1-year non-accredited fellowship in Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics. The fellowship provides extensive clinical PET-CT training and nuclear therapy/theranostics experience. There are research opportunities with novel PET radiopharmaceuticals. As a fellow associate, the candidate will participate take part in the program educational offerings, take part in evening/weekend general call, cover some tumor boards, and participate in teaching residents.
The nuclear medicine faculty at The University of Iowa includes 6 MD and 6 PhD faculty. Nuclear medicine instrumentation includes three PET-CT scanners and 7 modern gamma cameras, including 2 SPECT-CT systems. We have an active research program with a cyclotron and radiochemistry facilities.
