We offer comprehensive training in dermatopathology to one candidate each year. Our fellowship is a two-year experience, with the first year as an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-approved year.
Training in diagnostic dermatopathology is founded on our volume of more than 50,000 accessions per year. We also provide about 5,000 consultations on previously prepared slides from throughout the United States and the world, which include a high proportion of complex material.

Fellows complete a four-year combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency or a three-year residency in pathology or dermatology prior to the program.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis between July 1 and December 31. Your application should include the academic year for which you are applying, the date of application submission, the Standardized College of American Pathologists application, curriculum vitae, personal statement, three letters of recommendation, and your United States Medical Licensing Examination transcript.
