The Advanced Fellowship in Preventive Cardiology in the Division of Outpatient Cardiology, Department of Cardiology, Children’s Hospital Boston, aims to promote the clinical and academic training of physicians specializing in pediatric preventive cardiology and to support and advance clinical research on the evaluation and treatment of cardiovascular risk during childhood.
Trainees who participate in this 12 month Advanced Fellowship in Preventive Cardiology will be immersed into this active clinical, research, and teaching environment with the goal of substantially augmenting their clinical and research skills. A second year of training will be considered in applicants who are interested in pursuing a career with a major focus in independent research. Trainees may elect to pursue advanced research methodological training; in general, the cost of this training is covered by the trainee.
