Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship

The University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) is offering a Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship position, start date: July 1, 2021 (direct hire, not through the match).

UMMC is located a short walking distance from Baltimore’s historic Inner Harbor and Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The Baltimore region offers a high quality of life, with opportunities to live in an urban, sub-urban or rural community, which are all in close proximity to UMMC.

MSK fellows at UMMC receive a well-rounded education with training in trauma (home of the world renowned R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center), sports medicine (strong UM Orthopaedic department and team physicians for the Big Ten Conference UM Terrapins college sports teams), cancer (top tier cancer center: UM Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center), and many other bread-and-butter MSK radiology topics.

MSK fellows receive training in image-guided biopsy, diagnostic / therapeutic joint procedures, and musculoskeletal ultrasound. Modalities include state-of-the-art MRI, CT (includes spectral), x-ray, fluoroscopy, PET/MRI, PET/CT, and bone densitometry (DXA).
