Gender-Affirming & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship

NYU Grossman School of Medicine offers a one-year fellowship in gender-affirming and reconstructive surgery.

Our program provides you with experience in prosthetics and reconstructive surgery—open, robotic, and laparoscopic—at four clinical sites:

• NYU Langone’s Tisch Hospital. Opens in a new tab and Kimmel Pavilion. Opens in a new tab
• NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue. Opens in a new tab
• the Manhattan campus of the VA NY Harbor Healthcare System. Opens in a new tab

As a fellow in our program, you are actively involved in performing urethroplasty and placing implants, as well as transgender surgery and robotics—areas in which we have a unique specialization.

Prerequisites:

To be eligible for application to the Gender-Affirming and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship, you must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)–accredited urology residency program.
