The Integrative Medicine fellowship includes 1000 hours of web-based curriculum and three intensive residential weeks through the Andrew Weil Center For Integrative Medicine (AWCIM) online educational modules. Residents start the coursework during their second and third year of Family Medicine residency. In the fourth postgraduate year the fellows put their knowledge into practice providing integrative medicine consultations at the Family Medicine Center, the Integrative Medicine clinic and the AZ Cancer Center Survivorship clinic.
The Family Medicine Residential Fellowship in Integrative Medicine is a full-time fellowship—50% of time is devoted to educational activities, and 50% to clinical activities.
