Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship

NYU Grossman School of Medicine offers a one-year fellowship in cardiothoracic imaging in the Department of Radiology. As a cardiothoracic imaging fellow, you receive advanced training with an experienced team of radiologists, adult and pediatric cardiologists, pulmonologists, oncologists, and transplant and thoracic surgeons.

Cardiothoracic imaging fellows develop expertise in the thoracic surgical, oncology, and pulmonary services and encounter a rich volume of imaging that pertains to open and robotic surgical interventions, medical and radiation therapies for lung cancer, infection, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary arterial, aortic and vascular diseases, as well as in the care of the acutely ill.

Our fellowship offers intensive exposure to both thoracic and cardiac imaging techniques including radiography, chest CT, cardiac CT angiography, and MRI and the full range of thoracic and cardiac imaging pathologies. Fellows receive training in thoracic interventional procedures including biopsy and percutaneous ablative therapies with supervision from thoracic imaging faculty.
