Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship

The Department of Emergency Medicine at UAB offers a one-year fellowship training program in emergency ultrasound. The training program is designed to give graduates of emergency medicine residency programs the knowledge and skills to become ultrasound program directors and leaders in the field of emergency ultrasound. The Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship is dedicated to providing extensive experience in clinical ultrasound skills as well as education, program administration, and research.

The Department of Emergency Medicine is centered around a three-year academic emergency medicine residency with 12 residents per year, as well as fellowships in research, emergency medical services, health informatics, international emergency medicine and critical care.
