Limb Preservation and Wound Care Fellowship

The Johns Hopkins Limb Preservation and Wound Care Fellowship is a 1-year, ACGME-equivalent clinical fellowship within the Division of Vascular Surgery & Endovascular Therapy at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD is now accepting applications for the 2023-2024 academic year.

The Limb Preservation and Wound Care Fellow will receive unequaled, fully integrated multidisciplinary training to competently provide diabetic wound evaluation, surgical techniques employing evidenced-based wound salvage paradigms and complex wound reconstruction. Our proven limb salvage pathways incorporate a variety of wound modalities, coupled with our technological savvy Noraxon Computer-Assisted Gait Analysis (CAGA), providing patients with the greatest opportunity for continued limb preservation and remaining in remission and ulcer-free. We are seeking a fellow to start July 1, 2023.

This fellowship is appropriate for surgeons from a multitude of backgrounds including general, orthopedic, plastic, podiatric, and vascular surgery, and may also be applicable to general surgery residents interested in limb preservation during their research year.
