Pediatric Surgery Research Fellowship

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, located in Philadelphia PA, has an open research position for 1-2 years available as of July 1, 2023.

Our hospital is one of the oldest free standing children's hospitals in the country and has a clinical pediatric surgery fellowship. This position is fully funded at the appropriate PGY level. Position is ideal for someone looking to gain research and clinical experience in pediatric surgery. The position comes with resources for research such as a coordinator to help with IRBs and data collection, as well as a robust trauma registry. Research in pediatric trauma, machine learning, and general clinical studies are all possibilities, tailored to the fellow's interest. Funding is provided to attending meetings where presenting. Call is 1:4 in house and allows for clinical experience and time in the OR.

Prerequisites:

Must have completed PGY-3 by the start of fellowship to be eligible. Visa sponsorship is possible depending on training background (ie US or Canadian residency trained).
