One year clinical fellowship in Bariatric Surgery. Fellow will have extensive exposure to Sleeve, Bypass and revisional surgeries. Fellow will also be involved in upper and lower endoscopies and hands on clinical management of bariatric patients.
Fellow will work with two attendings and remain in one institution. There is no general surgery call to cover. Expected volumes for the surgery is about 500 cases a year, laparoscopic 425 and robotic about 75. Upper and Lower endoscopies about 250 cases a year. One clinical research paper expected from the fellow.
US Graduates only those who finished general surgery training in US surgical program by July 2023. Please, no Visa assistance will be offered. J-1 or other Visa seeking candidates need not apply.
