The Sackler Infant Psychiatry Fellowship is a clinical training experience under the auspices of the Sackler Institute for Developmental Psychobiology and the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry of Weill Cornell Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry. The Fellowship offers clinical, educational, and research opportunities for the fellow to gain expertise in perinatal, infant and preschooler mental health.
Clinical opportunities include work in outpatient Child Psychiatry clinic, Maternal-Infant Psychiatry service/Payne Whitney Women’s Program, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Neurodevelopmental follow up clinic. The Fellow will be seeing parent-infant/parent-young child psychotherapy cases, perinatal psychiatry cases for medication management and psychotherapy, consult in the NICU and the Neurodevelopmental follow up clinic, and conduct. Dr. Soudabeh Givrad is the main supervisor for these experiences, supplemented by specialized on site mentors .

Applicants who have completed a residency in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and who possess or are eligible for a New York State license are eligible to apply.
