New York Medical College/ Metropolitan Hospital pediatric residency program is looking to fill a PGY-2 position to start July 1, 2021. We are an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program with 21 residents. We are committed to clinical training, emphasizing a well-balanced hands-on experience in pediatrics that prepares residents for careers as pediatric generalists or to be eligible for pediatric subspecialist programs.
Our program has formal research /scholarly activity curriculum for all residents, providing you with mentorship to acquire the basic skills needed to successfully complete a scholarly project. Residents are encouraged to attend conferences and present both oral and poster presentations at state and national meetings, with a particular focus on the annual Resident Research Day.
