The post-doctoral, pre-residency clinical training program (PDCT) provides trainees an opportunity to gain clinical skills and experience in academic neurosurgery in preparation for categorical neurosurgical residency training.
Trainees participate fully in the clinical and teaching activities of the department, and work closely with the residency training program. Trainees are supervised by internationally recognized faculty members and receive extensive exposure to the full range of clinical neurosurgery.
Interested applicants are invited to apply for a one- to two-year fellowship opportunity within the Department of Neurosurgery. This fellowship provides the candidate the opportunity to participate fully in the clinical and teaching activities of the University of Iowa neurosurgery training program. Fellows are supervised by internationally recognized faculty members and receive extensive exposure to the full range of clinical neurosurgery.
