The Division of General Pediatrics at NYU Langone offers a two-year fellowship that prepares pediatricians for an academic career in general pediatrics. Research training is the focus of the program, with additional opportunities for you to develop your skills in clinical care, education, and advocacy.
The fellowship is supported by research training grants from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA NRSA T32 HP22238) and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ NRSA T32 HS026120), with a clinical supplement provided by the Department of Pediatrics. The fellowship is accredited by the Academic Pediatric Association.

To apply for the academic general pediatrics fellowship. , candidates must be a U.S. citizen or foreign national with a visa that permits permanent U.S. residence, be board-eligible or board-certified, be a graduate of an accredited U.S. clinical residency program, and have an active New York State medical license before matriculation.

Upon receipt of all application materials and an initial review process, selected applicants will be contacted to supply letters of recommendation and to schedule interviews with the division’s faculty. The program starts on July 1.
