Emergency Medicine Research Fellowship

The UTHealth Department of Emergency Medicine sponsors a two-year fellowship in Emergency Medicine Research. The objective of the fellowship is to arm early stage investigators with foundation training and practical research experience necessary for long-term success as a clinician scientist.

Keep components of the research fellowship include:

• Active participation in mentored clinical research projects.
• Active participation in grant preparation and submission.
• Completion of the Masters of Science in Clinical Research, or equivalent graduate degree
• Composition and submission of scientific papers.
• Participation in biomedical peer review.
• Limited attending-level clinical duties.
