The Pediatric Cardiac MRI Lab within the Division of Pediatric Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School is offering a one-year paid clinical fellowship in pediatric cardiac MRI.
Our program runs a dedicated cardiac scanner at Children’s Health Dallas. Last year we performed over 600 cardiac MRI procedures and over 400 cardiac CT procedures. This includes adult & pediatric congenital heart disease imaging; stress imaging, coronary CT imaging in coronary vasculopathy; lymphatic imaging; iron load imaging; MRI-guided cardiac catheterization; whole-body angiography; functional ‘4D’ CT angiography; ‘4D-Flow’ MRI for clinical evaluation; 3D printing; 3D Virtual reality device fitting and overlay of CT/MRI reconstructions for catheterization guidance in the catheterization lab.
Applicants must have US or international training in pediatric cardiology or pediatric radiology .
