Epilepsy Fellowship

Epilepsy Fellowship

The University of Alabama at Birmingham is pleased to announce availability in our Epilepsy Fellowship program for the upcoming academic year. The UAB Epilepsy Center offers clinical, research, and educational services to adults and children with epilepsy.

Fellows are active members of our team by participating in the care of both inpatients and outpatients. Fellows will gain expertise in presurgical evaluation methods including video-EEG, PET, ictal SPECT, MEG, fMRI, and WADA. We have a high-volume surgical program that provides exposure to stereo and subdural ECOG, functional mapping, Visualase, RNS, and VNS therapy in patients with drug resistant epilepsy. Special opportunities for using neurostimulation and treating women's issues are also available.
