The Stanford Department of Neurology & Neurological Sciences offers an established Neurohospitalist Fellowship program, one of only a handful in the nation.
The goal of the one-year clinical Stanford Neurohospitalist Fellowship is to gain expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide variety of common and rare acute neurological conditions. The emphasis is on inpatient ward and consultative neurology, with exposure to neurocritical care and vascular neurology. In addition to consolidation of clinical knowledge, Fellows receive mentorship on managing clinical teams and teaching learners of multiple levels. Fellows are also actively involved in quality improvement and patient safety projects. At the completion of the program, each Fellow will have developed the necessary clinical, research, and teaching skills to launch a successful academic career.
