Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery Fellowship

The Department of Surgery at NYU Langone Health is opening its fellowship application process on January 3, 2023 for its Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery Fellowship starting August 1, 2024.

The fellowship is a one-year, non ACGME accredited program that provides a robust training in robotic foregut/esophageal and abdominal wall/hernia surgery from nationally renowned surgeons at the Manhattan campus. The fellow will receive training in all aspects of patient care in one of the premier health systems in the country finishing over 250 robotic procedures as a console surgeon during the year. Participation in multidisciplinary team discussions, esophageal and hernia conferences, and research activities is expected.

Prerequisites:

Candidates must have successfully completed at least 5 years of general surgery training from an accredited program in the USA.

Please submit CV with recent photo, personal statement, last 2 years of ABSITE score results and three letters of recommendation.

Submissions must be received by January 31, 2023 and interview notifications will be sent by the end of February with interviews to be held March 13-24.
