The objective of the Cedars-Sinai Research and Clinical Fellowship in Hypertension and Vascular Biology is to provide an experiential learning environment for obtaining research competency in translational research and clinical trials.
The program is designed for a diverse group of physician-scientists who have completed their general medical training and are interested in pursuing one of the following medical subspecialties:
We believe that encouraging the fellow's potential to generate crucial medical evidence that supports practice decisions — rather than simply absorb the published evidence — is integral to optimizing treatment outcome and keeping pace with the increased prevalence of cardiovascular diseases.

The candidate must have or be qualified to apply for an unrestricted California state medical license and Drug Enforcement Administration license prior to beginning the fellowship.
The fellowship candidate must also successfully acquire medical staff privileges to start in the program. The fellowship—which is not accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)—allows continuous enrollment.
