The primary goal of the one-year fellowship is to prepare participants for the perioperative care of high acuity thoracic surgery patients. Our program specializes in minimally invasive and Robotic-Assisted surgery. Important secondary goals of the fellowship include training in basic perioperative transesophageal echocardiography (leading to basic PTE certification) and research in the domains of Thoracic Anesthesiology.
