Keck School of Medicine of USC offers a one-year, ACGME-accredited epilepsy fellowship. Upon completion, fellows will be eligible for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) Epilepsy subspecialty boards. Training occurs at National Association of Epilepsy Center (NAEC)-accredited Level 4 (the highest level) and Level 3 sites.
The fellow’s experience, spanning adult and pediatric, includes outpatient clinic, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit with Phase 1 and Phase 2 cases, intraoperative electrocorticography, functional mapping, routine and long-term EEG, Wada tests, and a plethora of research opportunities for the interested fellow.
Salary and benefits are provided at the USC PGY-5 level. The fellowship begins July 1 and ends June 30 the next year; accommodations to this schedule are possible.
