Neuroanesthesia Fellowship

Neuroanesthesia Fellowship

The program aims to provide the individual one year of fellowship training in neuroanesthesia. Fellows will develop sufficient depth of understanding and proficiency in the perioperative evaluation, management, and follow-up of a variety of basic and complex neurosurgical cases such that they can act as expert consultants to our surgical and medical colleagues and teach the concepts to residents.

The fellow spends 50% time (2 days/week) in the general operating rooms performing attending duty. The other 50% time is for their fellowship training, including learning complex/specialized neurosurgical cases under supervision of neuroanesthesia faculty, elective rotations, research and teaching. The proportion of each component will depend on the fellow’s interest and career goals.
