Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship

The one-year Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Jacksonville, Florida, provides superb subspecialty radiology training while you work closely with experts in the imaging and interventional aspects of musculoskeletal radiology.

Unique program highlights include:

  • A detailed learning experience that enables fellows to become highly proficient at musculoskeletal imaging
  • Learning how to protocol, perform, and interpret studies and procedures at a subspecialty level, preparing graduates to bring musculoskeletal imaging expertise to either an academic setting or a specialty private practice
  • Outstanding faculty committed to teaching and facilitating the growth of medical knowledge
  • Experience in musculoskeletal radiographs, CT, MRI, and ultrasound
  • Interventional musculoskeletal experience includes:
    • Peripheral joint procedures, such as injection, aspiration, and arthrography
    • CT and US-guided biopsy of bone and soft tissue masses
    • CT-guided cryoablation of bone or soft tissue masses
    • CT-guided radiofrequency ablation of osteoid osteoma
  • Participation in one or more clinical research projects with consulting staff
  • A dedicated Center for Augmented Intelligence in Imaging led by a team of radiology faculty
  • Exceptional diagnostic resources and equipment

Prerequisites:

The Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship is open to physicians who have completed a radiology residency program and are board-eligible or board-certified in radiology.

For the academic year beginning July 1, 2023, applications can be submitted now. Applications are reviewed as completed in Recruit.
