The General Surgery Residency Program at The University of Arizona (Tucson) has an ACGME accredited training position available at the PGY3 level beginning July 1, 2023.

Prerequisites:

US clinical training in an ACGME accredited general surgery residency training program. Resident must be in good standing.

International Medical Graduates:

Must have a valid ECFMG certificate (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates). We only sponsor J1

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Statement
  • Medical School Diploma and Transcript
  • ABSITE scores and reports for ALL years completed (including January 2023)
  • Three (3) current Letters of Recommendation, including a letter from the current Program Director.
  • Competency-Based Evaluations for ALL completed rotations
  • Clinical Competency Committee evaluations
  • Current ACGME case log, including the “Defined Category” Operative Report
