The Pediatric Movement Disorders Fellow[1]ship program at Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s Hospital is now accepting applications for 2023/2024. Our innovative one or two -year program integrates clinical and research training in movement disorders of childhood. Clinical experiences combine intensive training in pediatric movement disorders with complementary training in allied fields, including rotations in adult movement disorders.
Fellows will develop expertise in botulinum toxin injection, intrathecal baclofen pump management, deep brain stimulation programming and neurogenetics. Fellows will develop and complete a mentored clinical and/or basic science research project. Research opportunities include clinical trials, outcome studies, motion analysis, movement disorders electrophysiology, advanced structural and functional neuroimaging, genomics, and molecular/cellular neuroscience.
