Breast Imaging Fellowship

Breast Imaging Fellowship

The UCLA Breast Imaging Fellowship consists of comprehensive training in all modalities of the breast imaging subspecialty, including digital 2D and 3D tomosynthesis mammography, breast sonography, breast magnetic resonance imaging, and in all image-guided breast procedures, including aspirations, biopsies, preoperative needle localizations (including new techniques such as radiofrequency identification), and ductography.

Fellows receive educational lectures and participate in clinical conferences including tumor board and multidisciplinary conference, with additional learning, teaching, and research opportunities. The training is enriched by exposure to diverse patient populations at both UCLA inpatient and outpatient sites, as well as at a county hospital facility, Olive View-UCLA Medical Center.
