Plastic Surgery Clinical Research Fellowship

The Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Florida is excited to offer a paid clinical research fellowship to a highly motivated individual interested in developing a strong foundation in clinical outcomes research in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

This busy research team includes seven academic surgeons with a wide range of clinical interests including aesthetics, breast reconstruction, craniofacial, hand, and microsurgery, as well as a statistician and full-time research coordinator. The Position: This is a one-year position with an optional renewable second year. The fellow’s roles will include project idea development, grant writing, data collection, data analysis and manuscript writing. Opportunities for career mentorship and time in the operating room are also available.

Prerequisites:

Applicants should be currently enrolled in or have completed medical school or be currently completing a residency and looking for dedicated research time of at least one year. An interest in pursuing a career in plastic surgery is preferred. Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.
