Infectious Disease Fellowship Position

We offer a 2-year program in clinical ID at a level-1 trauma center in NJ; the only tertiary referral center for South Jersey, located a 10-minute train ride from Center City, Philadelphia.

Our patient population is diverse and we see many cases of endocarditis, antibiotic resistant infections, infections in the ICU and oncology/immunosuppressed population, tick borne infections, TB, HIV complications, travel related infections, and complications of IV drug use.

Our fellows complete a solid-organ transplant ID rotation at HUP in Philadelphia. Our HIV clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic involving psychiatry, addiction medicine, pharmacy, and case management. We offer dedicated rotations in microbiology, antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, ambulatory (including TB and STI clinics), research, and a 2-week introduction to clinical research, biostatistics, and critical appraisal of the literature. The education of our fellows is our first priority.

Prerequisites:

Applicant must have completed a 3 year residency in internal medicine in good standing. J1 Visas are accepted by our institution. H1 Visas are not accepted by the institution.
