General Surgery Residency - Categorical Position

The UIC/Metropolitan Group Hospitals Residency in General Surgery in Chicago is recruiting one Categorical PGY-3 position for academic year 2022-2023 starting on July 1, 2022.

Prerequisites:

Completion of PGY-1 and/or in process for PGY-2 completion year in General Surgery of an accredited ACGME training program in good standing by June 30, 2022.

How To Apply:

Interested applicants should submit the following documents:

• ABSITE Scores of at least 50th percentile
• Current ACGME operative case log report
• USMLE1 and USMLE2 of at least 240
• Three letters of recommendation from U.S. including one from the current program director.
• Current CV with copy of medical school diploma and complete transcripts
• Proof of US citizenship, permanent visa or valid current J-1 visa
