Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship

Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship

The Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship Program at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center/Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (Baltimore, MD) has an available first year fellow position beginning July 1, 2021, with negotiable start date.

Our fellowship program prepares fellows for careers in academic medicine with personalized experiences in clinical settings, research, and education. We are based in a tertiary care hospital with interdisciplinary programs in cystic fibrosis, sleep medicine, aerodigestive medicine, subacute care, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, asthma, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, and neuromuscular disorders. Our fellows receive training in bronchoscopy, pulmonary function testing, exercise testing, and polysomnography. We have dedicated mentoring programs, division conferences, radiology rounds, bronchoscopy simulation center, and board review sessions for fellows, and available courses in public health as well. Fellows are involved in clinical, translational, or basic research in an area based on their interests. Owing to funding restrictions, we can only accept U.S. citizens, noncitizen nationals of the United States, or applicants who have been lawfully admitted for permanent residence at the time of appointment.
