Neurobehavioral Genetics Research Fellowship

This NIH-funded pre-doctoral and postdoctoral program provides 4 slots per year to pursue training in mentor laboratories in genetics, neurobiology, and cognitive neuroscience related to disorders of the nervous system, focusing on those that overlap with the domains of neurology and psychiatry.

The program includes a core curriculum with a thematic course centered on phenotyping of the nervous system in human and animal models and involves a strongly committed core set of faculty members, providing a vibrant and interactive environment. Semel.ucla.edu >

Prerequisites:

In keeping with the program's goals, preference will be given to applicants who are training in neuroscience, genetics, bioinformatics, psychology or human genetics, although we also seek outstanding applicants with other backgrounds.
