Laparoscopic and Advanced Gastrointestinal Surgery Fellowship

Laparoscopic and Advanced Gastrointestinal Surgery Fellowship

Founded in 1992, the Division of Laparoscopic Surgery at The Mount Sinai Hospital formed one of the first formal clinical training programs for minimally invasive surgery in the United States. Today, we currently offer a one-year position each academic year (August 1 – July 31) to one highly qualified physician. We now boast one of the nation's most clinically active programs and provide our Laparoscopic/Advanced GI Fellow with unparalleled exposure to diverse minimally invasive procedures and techniques.
