The Department of Urology at Lenox Hill Hospital is a 5-year residency training program located in New York City’s Upper East Side. We have 13 full-time, and over 30 volunteer faculty in all urology sub-specialties. Due to a recently approved expansion, we are currently accepting applications for positions at the PGY1 and PGY2 levels, starting July 1, 2021.
Eligible candidates must meet the following criteria by July 1, 2021:
1) graduation from a medical school in the US or Canada, accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or graduation from a college of osteopathic medicine in the US, accredited by the American Osteopathic Association Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (AOACOCA); or
2) graduation from a medical school outside the US or Canada, and meeting one of the following qualifications: holding a currently valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) or holding a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in New York State.
PGY2 candidates must have completed 1 year in an approved training program, including 3 months of general surgery, 3 months of additional non-urological surgery, 3 months of urology and no more than 3 months in non-surgical rotations.
