Fellowship in Cytopathology

Fellowship in Cytopathology

The Department of Pathology at Northwell Health offers a one-year ACGME-accredited fellowship program in diagnostic cytopathology. This program provides advanced training in all areas of cytopathology, including gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytopathology.

The program is also well suited for those who are academically oriented. We provide an organized educational experience that exposes the fellow to both the theoretical and practical applications of cytopathology. Values that we feel are important are that the program practices and teaches state-of-the-art diagnostic pathology together with a strong foundation in pathogenesis and the molecular basis of disease.
