Transplant Immunology Fellowship

The two-year Transplant Immunology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic’s campus in Jacksonville, Florida, has a multidisciplinary team consisting of experienced faculty with expertise in multiple subspecialty areas, such as the histocompatibility laboratory, transplant surgeons (lung, heart, kidney-pancreas consultants), mid-level providers, laboratory supervisors, senior technologists, and other allied health professionals.

One position is available on a competitive basis every two years in the Transplant Immunology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Jacksonville, Florida.

Prerequisites:

Applicants for the Transplant Immunology Fellowship must have successfully completed either:

  • Post-graduate M.D.: Completion of a pathology residency, or other eligibility requirement for postgraduate medical or doctoral studies. Board eligible in clinical pathology/clinical pathology, or internal medicine; or two years post graduate studies in general immunology.
  • Post-graduate Ph.D.: Two-year post-doctoral studies in immunology or equivalent as defined by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and as reflected in the ASHI Standards.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or foreign nationals who have or qualify for appropriate visa sponsorship.
