Thank you for your interest in the Neurophysiology Fellowship. The Neurophysiology Fellowship in the Department of Neurology at UNM in Albuquerque trains fellows in the interpretation of central nervous system neurophysiology, such as electroencephalogram (EEG), video EEG, evoked potentials and sleep medicine.
The year-long program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). By the end of the program, fellows will be proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy. Training is available and required in electromyography, nerve conduction studies, intraoperative monitoring and polysomnography. Upon successful completion of the program, fellows will be eligible for the Added Qualifications Examination in Clinical Neurophysiology.
