Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship

Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship

Our program offers one of the most broad spectrum training experiences in cosmetic procedures. The candidate will be working with our physicians and surgeons and will be exposed to neuromodulators, fillers, tumescent liposuction, blepharoplasty, rhytidectomy, hair restoration and the most advanced lasers available. Fellows will also have the opportunity to rotate with our facial plastic surgeon Dr. Joshua Rosenberg for advanced cosmetic surgery cases in the OR setting. This is a high volume fellowship with a diverse scope of clinical practices.

Our fellows are expected to help organize the annual cadaver course in the spring where residents from many specialties are invited to learn about reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. The fellow also has an active role in the clinical trials conducted by the surgical division and is expected to collaborate closely with our clinical trials division. Fellows will have the opportunity to write research protocols, obtain IRB approval and conduct high quality trials for publications.

This is an extremely competitive fellowship. We interview about ten applicants for one spot starting August 1st. The application deadline is September 1st of the prior fall. Although not a prerequisite, a surgical PGY1 training is favored. Candidates are usually invited for interviews in October and November.
