Pediatric Colorectal Surgery Fellowship

Pediatric Colorectal Surgery Fellowship

Welcome to the Pediatric Colorectal Surgery Fellowship Program at the University of Colorado. Our program is a one-year fellowship which was established in 2016. Our mission is to provide a very well-rounded pediatric colorectal surgical education in all facets of our specialty. Our global objective is to prepare the graduates of our program to step into their careers prepared to meet the challenges of the profession, regardless of their ultimate career goals.

During the course of the one-year curriculum, fellows participate in all colorectal activities: surgery, clinic, bowel management, rounds, academic meetings, grand rounds, and M & M. They also have the opportunity to take general pediatric surgery calls and interact with other pediatric surgeons at Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora. Fellows are always welcome to engage in research activities and will have access to the largest database in the world for patients with congenital colorectal conditions.
