The Abdominal Imaging Fellowship at the George Washington Univeristy Hospital (GWUH) and George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates is a single one-year position. We are accepting applications for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 academic years. This is a single position that may be filled with a fellow in the "Combined Body & MSK" or "Abdominal Imaging" fellowship track. This fellowship does not participate in a match.
This fellowship will provide advanced training and procedural skills in abdominal and pelvic imaging, with emphasis on abdominopelvic MR imaging and US- and CT-guided procedures. The fellowship is divided into thirteen 4-week blocks. The fellow will rotate through seven 4-week blocks of Body CT/MR, five 4-week blocks of ultrasound, and one block of elective time.

1. American Board of Radiology (ABR) board eligible, having completed 4 years of U.S. radiology residency by the start of the fellowship.
Internationally-trained applicants must complete at least 3 years of Graduate Medical Education (GME) certified post graduate residency within the United States to be considered for the position.
2. Eligible to obtain medical licensure in the District of Columbia prior to the start of the fellowship. For information on how to obtain a DC medical license, visit the D.C. Health Professional Licensing Administration.
