Breast Imaging Fellowship

The UC San Diego breast imaging division is pleased to offer a 12-month Breast Imaging Fellowship that provides comprehensive training in all aspects of breast imaging and interventional procedures. We serve a diverse population and are committed to providing compassionate and quality patient care to all. The environment is inclusive, team-oriented, and value-driven. Prerequisites:

Fellow candidates must have completed a radiology residency to be an ABR Board Eligible/Certified Radiologist, and must obtain a California medical license before starting the program.

How To Apply:

Applications are accepted for the 2021 Radiology Fellowship Match for 2022 appointments with a deadline of December 1, 2020. Virtual interviews are held starting November 1, 2020. One breast imaging fellowship position is offered per year.

2. Personal statement- (Please include your reasons for training at UCSD and your career goals)
3. Three letters of recommendation (including a letter from your Residency Program Director)
4. Curriculum Vitae
5. USMLE Steps 1, 2 and 3; or FLEX Components 1 and 2; or NBME Parts I, II and III; or all parts of the MCCQE; or all parts of the examination of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners
6. Medical school diploma
