Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery Fellowship

Welcome to the fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery in the department of neurosurgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. This is a 1-year appointment in the department of neurosurgery. Fellows are offered many opportunities to develop comprehensive clinical and patient management skills.

The fellow will be trained to diagnose and treat a full range of spinal disorders, including degenerative spinal disorders, spinal deformity, complex fractures, infections and spinal tumors. The fellows will also gain practical experience in advanced spinal instrumentation, minimally invasive surgical techniques, intraoperative image guidance and sophisticated intraoperative imaging.

Prerequisites:

This is a one-year fellowship program that is available to candidates who have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in neurosurgery and are eligible for certification by the American Board of Neurosurgery, with a desire to pursue additional training in advanced minimally invasive and complex spinal surgery.
